Passion and Purpose

Passion and Purpose

People talk a lot these days about finding their passion and purpose, and many feel immense pressure to do so. Is my life complete if I haven’t found this thing called “purpose?” What is it anyway?
Your passion and purpose is not necessarily what you DO, nor does it relate to $$! You simply find something you LOVE and DO THAT!
Ask yourself:
  • What sets your soul on fire?
  • What are you doing when you feel calm, peaceful, alive, content etc?
  • Most importantly, ask yourself “What do I LOVE to do?” The most important part of this question is “What do I!” How many of you are on someone else’s goal plan, or living a life you feel you “should” be living because it was the “right path” to choose based on belief systems someone else instilled into you? Did you ever make a CHOICE?
If you’re simply floating on the surface of your life and you’re feeling unsure that this mystical thing called FULFILLMENT actually exists – I’m telling you it does… and the answer is within you. Are you willing to go deeper? Your passion is waiting for you. You already have and are everything you’re craving.
“We lose ourselves in what we think is important in life till we realise feeling alive is all that is truly important.”
~ Jamie Gonzalez

Flow with it.

Flow with it.

Flow with it.

Just flow with it… easier said than done, right?
There are always going to be circumstances in your life that are hard to accept, manage, or process.
My question to you is this:
“What if you truly knew in the depths of your soul that everything was going to be okay, no matter what the current ‘challenge’ is that you’re facing?”
Ponder on this:
  • Would you manage each situation in your life differently?
  • Would you let go of the need to control these situations?
  • How would it feel to have the ability to completely surrender to whatever it is that you’re experiencing, and simply allow it to play out?
You can learn how to flow with whatever comes up for you, instead of sitting with the resistance of it – if you choose to. Some of the most powerful lessons and breakthroughs are in these moments and when we’re too caught up in the ‘drama,’ we can miss them. These lessons will be repeated until we get the learnings.
Learn how to flow, and you will flow to internal freedom.

Courage.

Courage.

Courage.

“Courage doesn’t happen when you have all the answers. It happens when you are ready to face the questions you have been avoiding your whole life.”
Shannon L. Alder
Life seems easy when we feel we have the answers, but what happens when we feel we don’t?
Are you feeling overwhelmed? Lost? Stressed? Anxious? Angry? Depressed?
Are you experiencing the same pattern, time and time again and starting to wonder “WHY ME?”
Know this –
These patterns are generally being repeated for you to EXPERIENCE and FEEL the EMOTION that you are suppressing within yourself and avoiding to feel.
The pattern will continue playing out so you can continue to experience the emotion and the EMOTION IS THE CLUE, so you need to TUNE IN.
Have the COURAGE to listen to what your triggers, patterns and emotions are telling you.
The ANSWER is within YOU! Every situation and person in our lives is a REFLECTION of ourselves and what is going on for us internally.
Find the courage to start shifting, by looking in the mirror and working on YOU.
If you want to find the answers you’re seeking and you want something to change, you must find the courage to ask the right questions. This is where the magic is!

MY COMMITMENT TO MYSELF

MY COMMITMENT TO MYSELF

MY COMMITMENT TO MYSELF

2018 was quite a challenging year for me in regards to my health and I’ve been working very hard on rebuilding my immune system and fitness levels.
Following surgery for endometriosis last year, my immune system seemed to be non-existent which resulted in a few bouts of nasty viruses leaving me feeling exhausted, rundown and sick of being sick!
I feel drawn to share this journey with you as I know we all have our own challenges in different areas of our lives. Nurturing yourself from the inside out is the key!
Here is my commitment for February 2019:
  • no alcohol
  • no dairy
  • no coffee
  • alkaline diet
  • whole grains only
I have a few injuries and live with chronic pain, so easing myself into a great routine is important! I will be doing one of the following activities every day, (as well as stretching and mobility):
  • yoga
  • mat pilates / pilates reformer
  • minimum 30min walk with my pups
I vow to follow this plan, even on the days I don’t want to.
I love myself enough to give myself this gift.
Let’s do this!

Tune In.

Tune In.

Tune In.

Welcome to the beginning of another new year!
It is imperative to give yourself time to rest, recharge and rejuvenate throughout the year.
  • Tune in and listen to what your body, mind and soul are telling you.
  • Take a few moments each day to be grateful for your breath – it’s always there for you.
  • Take time out just for YOU! (We all need time out. Book a massage, plan a self-love day, a mini-break, or a holiday.)
  • Write a ‘Fun & Creativity’ list. (We have enough to-do lists.)
  • Be consciously aware of where you’re placing your attention and energy.
  • Be okay to ‘not be okay!’ Life is not meant to be ‘easy’ and it is not normal to be ridiculously happy all the time! Tune into what your heart and soul are telling you and if you can feel emotion stirring – ‘sit with your shit.’ (There is always a message, a purpose, or a lesson.)
  • Everything you experience is either a reason, a season, or a lifetime.
  • It’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey. Be present!
  • Treat your body like a temple and be consciously aware of what you are fuelling yourself with. (This goes for your body, your mind AND your soul!)
  • Remember you already have everything you need within yourself. (Sometimes you simply need a little help finding it.)
  • Work with a coach/mentor who truly inspires you!
“If you’re sacrificing your peace for a future goal, you’re only chasing a goal that is reinforcing the lie that you don’t already have that which the goal will have you feel once obtaining it.”
